This is a downloadable PDF Sewing Pattern.

The Hadal Lounge Set is inspired by a topographic map of the ocean floor at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The Hadalpelogic region extends from a depth of 6,000 to 11,000 meters, is the deepest known part of the ocean, and is named for Hades, god of the underworld. Here in the complete darkness, there is extreme pressure and temperatures near freezing. Explore the Hadal Zone with us!

GARMENT SPECIFICS

Garment can be entirely constructed with a sewing machine, serger/overlocking machine optional. Techniques required include zig zag stitches, pinning + sewing curved seams, and working with elastic.

You may not sell garments made using this pattern.  

Material Recommendations

SUGGESTED FABRICS Knit fabrics with 50-75% stretch, preferably with a spandex content. Bamboo, Rayon, or blends with Cotton, Lycra, Silk, Spandex, Nylon, Tencel. 100% cotton tends to stretch out quickly. Measure stretch by marking out 4” of fabric, then gently stretch to max.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Use these finished measurements to check what size to make in your desired fabric!

Double the Waist and Hip Measurements in your intended size, mark that length along your fabric, and hold around your body to check the stretch.

Mark the Front and Back lengths, and hold against your High Point Shoulder to check the vertical stretch.

As someone who frequently extends gusset pieces further towards the front, I absolutely love where the gusset sits on the Hadal. I feel fully covered and it doesn't shift throughout the day. The simple view is so easy, and the ocean view is stunning with sheer or color contrast panels. This pattern does! not! miss!!
