Period Panty Sewing Kit™️ - Bits + Pieces

During kit production, there are often pieces that are mis-cut just a bit too small, or have marks or spots, holes or snags, or a wonky edge from the factory that we don't want to put in our lovely kits. This batch of kits mostly includes absorbent fabric pieces that have a wavy selvedge or marker writing on it from the factory. These pieces will be completely enclosed when your panties are made up, and won't affect the look or function at all.

So we're giving them to you as Bits + Pieces Period Panty Sewing Kits™️ at a bit of a discount, and a thank you from us for helping us save things from going in the land fill. Each kit includes enough to make three plus pairs of period undies, in any size (tested up to 5X)

This kit contains the special trio of absorbent fabrics for the crotches of three pairs of reusable period panties. Choose your own fabric and elastic to pair with the absorbent gussets, and use with any of our sewing patterns (we recommend the Perfect Period Panties), or your favourite undie sewing pattern. 

Here's what we've got: 

• Nautilus, Sea Urchin, or Black Waterproof Backed Organic Cotton Jersey
• Ultra Absorbent Quilted Bamboo Cotton
• Black Moisture Wicking Jersey

We recommend using a wide fold over elastic to neatly encase all the layers. 

MATERIAL SPECIFICS The wicking jersey + bamboo cotton are infused with skinsafe Silvadur™ which inhibits odor + infection-causing bacteria. The waterproof polyurethane backing on the organic cotton jersey and the polyester wicking fabric are entirely food safe + made with no toxic components. They are CPSIA certified, meeting stringent standards by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead, phthalates, and flammability. FREE of PFAS and PFOA.

CARE + USAGE Makes three pairs of period panties which replace 2-3 tampons per wear. Soak and rinse in cold water before washing. Wash cold or medium, lay flat to dry. Do not use fabric softener, which inhibits absorption.

HEALTH NOTE Air flow and breathability is very important for vaginal health. As these Period Panties contain a waterproof material, please keep in mind that wearing for extended amounts of time (more than a few days at a time) can contribute to vaginal discomfort. Please change garments every 12 hours to keep your vagina happy, and remove for a few hours if you begin to experience discomfort.
