Hello Friends!
Welcome to my first experiments with Adaptive Sewing!

I've been collecting ideas for sewing adaptive lingerie for quite some time, and with my new blog posts on Adaptive Sewing for Closet Core Patterns, I decided it was time to jump in and try some of them out with my very own Sophie Hines Sewing Patterns!

Using the Axis Tank with the scoop neck view, I extended the front to create a wrap front with a V neck, and used magnets as the closures. I included a hook and bar closure at the top of the magnet for extra safety, and an elastic pinch loop on the outside of the magnet to add adaptive flexibility!
I loved working with these magnets, and can't wait to tell you more about how I created the pattern and designed the closures! Check out the Patreon for more goss!!

To complete the set, I tried my hand at sewing adaptive underwear! This pair of Hadal Briefs has a really cool hack to create side openings, plus another closure at the waistband to keep them from falling off when you remove the front!

Each velcro closure also features elastic pinch loops, which I wasn't expecting to love as much as I do! They make it super easy to grab the end of the garment and match it with its closure. If you deal with arthritis, hand pain, or mobility issues, this is such a great detail to add to your clothing! It blends in really well into underwear as a design feature, and I'm looking forward to finding more ways to use them!

Happy sewing!
